Itinerary

Pick Up     

​

You will be picked up from your hotel and met by our friendly English-speaking guide and experienced driver. 

​

Day 1

 

Meet your guide and start to explore and learn about stories of the old world through famous monuments like Ulugbek’s Observatory and the impressive Registan square. Finish off the day by heading to Konigil village to see how to make “silk paper” from mulberry. 

​​

Day 2

​

Continue exploring local historic sites such as the Bibi-Khanym monument which was built by Tamerlan for his wife. You will have free time to stroll around. In the afternoon, experience the local Siyab Bazaar to buy ingredients for the plov making class with a local family. Plov is a traditional meal that is hearty and tasty, including rice, vegetables and meat. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

Say Goodbye

The adventure comes to an end today as we drive you back to your hotel so you can enjoy the rest of your time in Samarkand.
